Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 29 أغسطس 2025ء) ZATCA spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi stated that in the first attempt, ZATCA seized 209,759 pills concealed inside a vehicle’s spare tire at the King Fahd Causeway, while 91,566 pills were discovered hidden within parts of a bus at the Al-Haditha crossing.
Following the seizures, ZATCA coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, leading to the arrest of the intended recipient of the drugs inside the Kingdom.
ZATCA reiterated its commitment to tightening customs control on all imports and exports to protect society from such illicit items.
