Saudi Customs Report 1,469 Seizures at Ports in One Week

Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 23 أغسطس 2025ء) The seizures included 49 cases involving narcotics, such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, and Captagon pills, as well as 315 incidents of other prohibited substances.

Customs officials also intercepted over 1,250 attempts to smuggle tobacco and its derivatives, 16 cases related to sums of money, and nine incidents involving weapons and their accessories.

ZATCA reaffirmed its commitment to tightening customs controls on imports and exports to safeguard society, emphasizing its collaboration with relevant authorities to combat smuggling and all forms of illegal trade.
