Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 26 أغسطس 2025ء) The “Media Oasis” is an integrated platform launched by the Ministry of Media to enhance the Kingdom's media presence at major international forums and provide a professional environment aligned with the transformations taking place under Saudi Vision 2030.
The 10th edition of the “Media Oasis” will cover an area of 4,000 square meters, equipped with the latest technologies, and will include several dedicated zones for media professionals. It is expected to host more than 2,500 local and international journalists.
The oasis comprises several main zones, most notably the “Oasis Valley,” which features live broadcast screens covering the accompanying exhibition and the symposium’s opening ceremony, along with a range of specialized media and technical services.
It also includes the “Oasis Exhibition” area, which showcases the transformative projects of Saudi Vision 2030 and highlights leading innovations and regulatory technologies (RegTech) through interactive pavilions, in addition to four studios dedicated to local and international television channels.
Several public and private entities are participating in the oasis pavilions, including the Ministry of Sport, the Aseer Development Authority, the Saudi Space Agency, the Saudi National Bank, and Mobily. The pavilions also feature national projects and initiatives such as NEOM and “Visit Saudi,” alongside a number of local and international companies in the communications and technology sector.
The GSR is a major annual international event, hosted this year by the Kingdom in Riyadh in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union, under the theme “Regulation for Sustainable Digital Development.” The event will be attended by ministers, heads of regulatory authorities, policymakers, and private sector leaders from more than 190 countries.
