Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 أغسطس 2025ء) Moderate to heavy rain is expected in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Najran regions, with a chance of fog forming over highlands in these areas. Light to moderate thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds reducing horizontal visibility, are also expected over the southern parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions.
Surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, shifting to southerly to southwesterly in the central part by evening, at speeds of 15–35 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h toward the Gulf of Aqaba. In the southern part, winds will be southerly to southwesterly at 15–40 km/h, exceeding 50 km/h with the formation of thunderclouds. Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, rising to over two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at 12–32 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter. The sea will be slight.
