Madinah, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 أغسطس 2025ء) The cluster explained that the sites include the main hospital, the Maternity and Children’s Hospital at King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City, King Fahd Hospital in Madinah, Prince Abdul Mohsen General Hospital in AlUla Governorate, and Yanbu General Hospital.
It affirmed that blood donation is a fundamental pillar in saving lives, as it is used in cases of hemorrhage among pregnant women before, during, or after delivery; in major surgeries such as cardiac and vascular operations and organ transplants; and for cancer patients, individuals with blood disorders, and accident victims.
The cluster also noted that blood donation has multiple health benefits, most notably stimulating bone marrow to produce new blood cells, enhancing blood circulation, and helping reduce iron levels in the blood, thereby lowering the risk of heart disease and arterial blockage.
