Washington, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 أغسطس 2025ء) During his visit to Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Aljadhey met with dean of the Bloomberg School of Public Health Professor Keisha Porter and several faculty members. The meeting reviewed the school’s advanced experiences in clinical studies and the use of modern technologies and digital tools to support drug safety, in addition to highlighting the applications of artificial intelligence in regulatory and preventive sciences.
Dr. Aljadhey also met with director of the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration at George Washington University Professor Kathryn Newcomer. The meeting addressed several topics related to public policy and regulatory challenges, as well as issues concerning health, pharmaceuticals, and food systems, opening new horizons for academic and research cooperation.
The CEO of SFDA stressed that the authority attaches great importance to strengthening its partnerships with academic institutions, emphasizing that its regulatory decisions are based on solid scientific foundations supported by specialized research and studies. He explained that such efforts are in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to develop a more efficient and innovative healthcare system.
