The fund also introduced global filmmakers to its cultural financing offerings, which span the entire filmmaking value chain, from development to distribution.
In parallel, the CDF leveraged its presence to cultivate strategic ties with leading figures in the global film industry, including filmmakers, producers, and creative visionaries from Asia and beyond, positioning Saudi Arabia as a premier hub for international cinematic collaboration and future productions.
Founded in 2011, the Beijing International Film Festival is one of China’s principal cultural events, celebrating global cinematic exchange. This year, the 15th edition features screenings, forums, and industry programs under the theme “New Quality Films Empowered by Technology.”
