A delegation of National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad visited Department of Food Science & Human Nutrition of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahorefor accreditation of degree programs
LAHORE (Pakistan Point News - 16th November, 2018) A delegation of National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad visited Department of food Science & Human Nutrition of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahorefor accreditation of degree programs.
The delegation comprised onChairman (NAEAC)Prof DrIshtiaq ARajwana, Program coordinator Mr Abdullah andSubject ExpertProf Dr Masood Sadiq Butt. Dean Faculty of Bio-Sciences Prof Dr Habib-Ur-Rehman briefed them on history, vision and degree programs of the UVAS.
Assistant Professor Dr Sanaullah Iqbalbriefed the delegation about the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, degree programs being offered as well as student enrolment.
He also highlighted the different departmental activities conducted on regular basis to produce trained human resource in the domain of Food Science and Nutrition Human.
The delegation visited variouslabs in the departments and human nutrition clinic etc. Meanwhile, delegation also held meeting with UVAS Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof DrMasoodRabbani, in whichdelegation appreciated University effortsfor quality of education and research.
