All Pakistan Qiraat and Naat competitions held at UVAS

LAHORE (Pakistan Point News - 15th November, 2018) The Qiraat and Naat Society of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore arranged All Pakistan QiraatandNaatcontests here on Thursday.

A large number of students from different institutions all over the Pakistan wereparticipated in these contests. Punjab Universitywon the team trophy was the winner of this contest. In Qiraat contest, Hafiz Asad Sharif (Punjab University) won 1st position, Abdul Rehman(University of Engineering and Technology Lahore) got 2nd while Muhammad Awais (University of Agriculture Peshawer) and Abdullah Tanveer(Virtual University) both stood on 3rd position.

In Naat Contest, UsmanMunir(Punjab Group of Colleges Lahore) won 1st position,Ammar Zia (Lahore Garrison University)got 2nd position whileMuhammad AsifRehman(Government Collage University Faisalabad) got 3rd position.

Later, UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof DrMasoodRabbanichaired the concluding ceremony and distributed shields and certificates among the winners of the contests while Senior Tutor UVAS Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf Prof DrYasinTipu and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

Earlier, UVAS students ZeeshanHaiderRaza and Ahsan Ashraf from the platform of UVAS QIRTAS society won first position, trophy along with cash prize in Bait Bazi Competition held at Tariq Aziz Show while UVAS StudentMaham Zahrarepresented UVAS Debating Societywon Best urdu Speaker MajeedNizami Award in All Pakistan Alama Muhammad Iqbal Bilingual Contest 2018 held at Government College University (GCU) Lahore.

UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof DrMasoodRabbani congratulated them on their achievements and appreciated their effort.
