WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th January, 2020) The US peace plan offers the Palestinians two significant land plots in the south of Israel connected with the Gaza Strip, according to the conceptual map published by President Donald Trump on Tuesday.
One plot amid the desert is designated as "High-tech Manufacturing Industrial Zone" and the second as "Residential and Agricultural area." The two are connected with the Gaza Strip and between themselves with narrow corridors running in the vicinity of the Israeli-Egyptian border.
It's not immediately clear whether Israel is expected to cede the territories to the Palestinians or retain sovereignty over them.
