MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2019) A Nigerien diplomatic mission to Russia will open next year, Foreign Minister Kallo Ankourao said during a press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday."We need to create conditions for strengthening our cooperation. And this goes through opening of consulate and embassy in both countries respectively. We took the lead hoping that we will after have a chance to have Russian embassy in Niamey but we assured minister Lavrov that during the first quarter of 2020 we decided under the instruction of the president of Niger to open an embassy in Moscow," Ankourao said.
