MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th June, 2019) Russia and China are concerned about the actions of countries destroying the principles of arms control for their own benefit, unceremoniously eliminating mechanisms maintaining stability, according to a joint statement by the two countries' leaders, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, following their talks in Moscow.
"Russia and China note with alarm the extremely dangerous actions of certain states that, proceeding from their own geopolitical and even commercial benefits, destroy or adapt the existing architecture of arms control and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) to their needs," the document says.
