WARSAW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd June, 2019) Poland's Orlen said Monday the talks in Moscow on the situation with the Druzhba oil pipeline were a breakthrough, with Russia's Transneft pledging to compensate for losses through Russian oil companies."During the meeting in Moscow on resuming clean oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline, the Polish side presented a compensation mechanism between Transneft and oil producers. In this regard, according to preliminary data from Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek, a breakthrough occurred," it said.
"The Polish side received a declaration that Transneft will transfer compensation to Russian oil producers to cover claims sent to them by oil recipients (including Orlen)," the company said.
