MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th May, 2019) The Kremlin said Thursday that there were many different ratings assessing popularity of Russian President Vladimir Putin from different angles, but the president's electoral rating was growing.
On Wednesday, Russian pollster VTsIOM head Valery Fedorov said that Putin's personal rating was decreasing as Russians "did not believe that life would be better tomorrow than today" as their income was not growing for the past five years.
"There are many different ratings for Vladimir Putin. On the one hand, the trust ratings, but on the other hand, we see Putin's electoral rating, which is now growing," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said commenting on Fedorov's statement.
Peskov added that the Kremlin was still waiting for the statistics experts to analyze the correlation between Putin's personal and electoral ratings.
