MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th May, 2019) The Taliban movement remains committed to the internal dialogue in Afghanistan, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the deputy head of a Taliban delegation in Moscow, said Tuesday.
A special conference is being held in Moscow on Tuesday to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Afghanistan. A delegation from the Taliban movement, led by Head of the Taliban's Political Office in Qatar Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, is attending the event.
"Inter-Afghan dialogue ... we are ready for Afghan-Taliban dialogue, the first time we had it here in Moscow, the second round there in Doha and in other countries ... So we believe in this," he told reporters.
