Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a two-day official visit
ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 27th May, 2019) Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a two-day official visit.The Uzbek deputy prime minister was received by senior officials at Noor Khan Air Base in Islamabad.Elyor Ganiev was accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising deputy ministers for investment and foreign trade, transport and other senior officials.Ganiev is expected to hold consultations with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and meet other Federal ministers and advisers during his visit.
The two sides will discuss ways to further bolster bilateral ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.Last year, during the visit of Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov to Pakistan, the two countries discussed a comprehensive roadmap for boosting their bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation and agreed to continue their dialogue for closer collaboration in all areas.Kamilov and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a press stakeout at the conclusion of their bilateral talks at the Foreign Office were unanimous in their views that peace and stability in the region was vital for progress and development of their countries.
