MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd May, 2019) Two militants, who were planning a terrorist attack in a crowded place, have been neutralized in Vladimir region, western Russia, the National Antiterrorism Committee said on Wednesday.
"A counterterrorist operation was conducted in Vladimir region ... two militants were neutralized in [the town of] Kolchugino," the statement said.
The committee added that the militants were the supporters of "a terrorist group" which was preparing a terrorist attack in a crowded place.
"Weapons, ammunition, an improvised explosive device and religious extremist literature were found at the site," the statement added.
The town of Kolchugino has about 45,000 residents.
