Pakistan permanent envoy in UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said UN should capitalize on experiments of the countries which send peace keeping troops.
New York (Pakistan Point News / Online - 21st May, 2019) Pakistan permanent envoy in UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi has said UN should capitalize on experiments of the countries which send peace keeping troops.She said this while speaking in debate at UN General Assembly on performance of peace building commission.She called for evolving comprehensive political process for the sake of successful and effective peace building .She urged that international community should support UN Peace Mission endeavors. Pakistan is alive to importance of it being founding member of peace building mission. Peace building process can not bear fruit by ignoring priorities of the respective countries.
