Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 20th May, 2019) Supreme Court judge justice Azmat Saeed has remarked that let us review and find out can sentence of Dr Aafia Siddiqui be completed in Pakistan?He gave these remarks while hearing the petition seeking court's orders for Dr Aafia Siddiqui repatriation to Pakistan.During the course of hearing Deputy Attorney General informed the court that Dr Aafia Siddiqui meets counselor after every three months.
Justice Azmat Saeed remarked, "Maybe some thing is done by raising matter of Aafia with other Pakistanis languishing in jails in other countries. .The Court ordered to club a petition seeking the repatriation of Dr Aafia Siddiqui a neurologist languishing in a United States jail on charges of trying to kill US agents and military officers in Afghanistan with a petition seeking repatriation of Pakistanis jailed abroad.Court has adjourned the hearing of case indefinitely.It is vital to mention here that foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi during last week told that Dr Aafia has shown willingness to file appeal against her sentence.
