BAGHDAD, (Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2019) The Iraqi Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the sabotage operations against four commercial ships near the UAE's territorial waters.
Iraq affirms its solidarity with the brothers in the UAE in facing challenges and confronting all attempts to destabilize its security, stability and the safety of its citizens, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, carried by the Iraqi news Agency.
The ministry added that ''Iraq sees what these tankers suffered from sabotage that threatens the security of the whole Gulf, because the insecurity in the region affects all the countries of the region.'' ''We therefore stress the importance of concerted efforts to confront any threat and take measures to preserve the security and stability of this region.''
