Punjab Okays Uplift Schemes in its PDWP Forum

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved nine development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 48840.245 million

Lahore (Pakistan Point News / Online - 14th May, 2019) The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved nine development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 48840.245 million.These schemes were approved in the 25th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided over the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani.All Members of the Planning & Development board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included Water Supply Scheme Fazaiya Housing Colony Turnol Tehsil & District Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs. 547.089 million, GIS Integrated Computerization of Urban Immovable Property Tax (UIPT) System in (30) Thirty Districts of Punjab (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 996.584 million, Rural Accessibility Programme (RAP) for 2018-19 pertaining to Punjab Highways Department North Zone at the cost of Rs. 4,889.157 million, Rural Accessibility Programme (RAP) for 2018-19 pertaining to Punjab Highways Department Central Zone at the cost of Rs.

4,394.439 million, Rural Accessibility Programme (RAP) for 2018-19 pertaining to Punjab Highways Department South Zone at the cost of Rs. 6,157.831 million, Dulization of Khanewal-Lodhran Road (Length=94km) at the cost of Rs. 22,295.157 million, Development Works, Construction and Rehabilitation of Roads, Streets and Public Parks, D.G. Khan (Umbrella PC-I) at the cost of Rs. 559.988 million, Progressing Punjab by Entrepreneurial Development of SMEs (PPED) at the cost of Rs. 6000.000 million and Developing SME Sector through Loan Markup Support Programme (LMSP) at the cost of Rs. 3000 million.
