China is ready to increase comprehensive contribution to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Chinese Envoy to Russia Su Fangqiu said on Monday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th May, 2019) China is ready to increase comprehensive contribution to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Chinese Envoy to Russia Su Fangqiu said on Monday."China confirms its interest to increase contribution to the SCO, share useful advice and cooperate on various levels," the envoy told the participants of a round table at the Rossiya Segodnya International News Agency.
The diplomat also shared his vision about the bright future of the organization.
China is the founding and pivotal member of the SCO. The country hopes to jointly tackle regional challenges and promote peace via open and inclusive cooperation with other SCO states.
According to the China Development Bank, Beijing has loaned more than $100 billion to the SCO members. In 2018 alone, China pledged to invest about $4.6 billion in the organization to help other members India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan boost their infrastructure and industrial development.
