Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will travel to Brussels on Monday for talks with European Council chief Donald Tusk and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the president's press office said

KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th May, 2019) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will travel to Brussels on Monday for talks with European Council chief Donald Tusk and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the president's press office said.

Poroshenko's May 13-14 working visit is tied to a summit this week marking the 10th anniversary of the European Union's Eastern Partnership project, which seeks to deepen EU ties with six ex-Soviet nations.

"In his address to the high-level conference of heads of EU institutions and Eastern Partnership countries, [Poroshenko] will sum up his contribution to Ukraine's European integration during his presidency and outline priorities for the EU-Ukraine cooperation in the coming five years," the statement reads.

Poroshenko also plans to meet with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the European People's Party head, Joseph Daul, as well as with other heads of state and government of the Eastern Partnership countries.
