Summer vacation in Punjab will begin from from June 1
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 11th May, 2019) The summer vacation in educational institutes in Punjab will begin from June 1.
Provincial education minister Dr Murad Raas said that the Twitter account that made the announcement about summer vacation is fake.
Recently, a notification was being circulated on social media, announcing summer vacation in Punjab till June 10 because of Ramzan.
Terming the notification as fake, the Schools Education Department announced that the summer vacation will begin from June 10 in the province.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government had announced summer vacation for all the public and private colleges under the administrative control of College Education department Sindh from May 1 to June 30.
All the colleges would be opened on July 1 after the summer vacation.
On the other hand, the Federal Directorate of Education has also announced summer vacation from June 3.
Media reports said that the summer vacation will be observed in the federal educational institutions from June 3 till August 11.
The Punjab Education Department had earlier announced summer vacation from June 1.
The Punjab Education Department had also issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, educational institutions will remain closed in Punjab from June 1 till August 14. All educational activities will remain suspended during this period.
