Zeeshan, a resident of Aimanabad Mor, claimed that he is a simple citizen and has no connection with the terrorist or terrorism.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 11th May, 2019) The person, considered to be a facilitator of the Data Darbar suicide bomber, turned out to be a common man.
Media reports said that Zeeshan got into trouble after his pictures were aired on tv channels, terming him as the facilitator of the blast.
However, Zeeshan, a resident of Aimanabad Mor, claimed that he is a simple citizen and has no connection with the terrorist or terrorism.
He said that he had gone to Data Darbar in a rickshaw the day of the blast.
The citizen added that he offered Fateha at the shrine and as he stepped outside, the blast happened. Zeeshan said that the explosion had caused a chaos as people ran for their lives.
He said that like other people, he also left the shrine amid the hustle and ran towards his house.
Expressing his distress, Zeeshan said that declaring him as a terrorist and airing his pictures was very unfair as it put his life into trouble.
To a question, he said that he has been living in Aimanabad for a long time and has nothing to do with any terrorist activities.
At least 12 people, including four policemen, were killed while 30 others injured in a suicide attack on a police van at Gate 2 of the Data Darbar, Lahore on Wednesday.
The suicide bomber had targeted a police van in the suicide attack.
The security forces are conducting operation to arrest suspects believed to be involved in the Data Darbar blast. Several suspects have been arrested so far in various operations.
