MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th May, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov intends to discuss the situation around the Iran nuclear deal with European partners on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers in Helsinki on May 16-17, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said Thursday.
"We will have a session of the CoE's Committee of Ministers on May 16-17, which will be crucial for the future of the Council of Europe, so everyone expects that there will be many ministers, and, as usual, there will certainly be meetings on the sidelines, and of course more than one," Grushko said when asked whether any consultations between Lavrov and his European counterparts were planned to discuss the situation around the Iran nuclear deal.
