FIA arrests more Chinese nationals involved in human trafficking

The arrests have been made upon the complaints of two women.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 7th May, 2019) The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has carried out several arrests after reports of Chinese nationals involved in human trafficking in Pakistan surfaced.

The FIA has arrested a Chinese gang involved in human trafficking from Rawalpindi.

According to FIA, the gang includes three Chinese and four Pakistani nationals.

The arrests have been made upon the complaints of two women. Two Chinese nationals who married these girls have also been arrested.

FIA Deputy Director Kamran Ali said that the Chinese men would marry Pakistani girls after making fake conversion certificates.

The Chinese nationals marry Pakistani girls and after taking them to China, force them into prostitution.

Moreover, the FIA official said that Chinese men are involved in sale of human organs in China as well.

Earlier, the FIA revealed that the Chinese nationals prepare fake documents for extending their visas and getting NOCs with the aid of officials from Interior Ministry and Passport and Immigration Office.

The report revealed that hundreds of permission letters are issued everyday to extend visas of Chinese nationals.
