MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th May, 2019) The prospective visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Berlin has been postponed due to urgent matters, the US Embassy in Germany said Tuesday.
Pompeo was supposed to meet later on Tuesday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Foreign Minister Heiko Maas for talks on issues of mutual concern, including China, Russia, Syria, the Western Balkans and Ukraine.
"Unfortunately, we must reschedule the Berlin meetings due to pressing issues. We look forward to rescheduling this important set of meetings. The Secretary looks forward to being in Berlin soon," the mission tweeted.
