KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th April, 2019) The Ukrainian Central Election Commission (CEC) announced on Tuesday the final results of the country's presidential race in which Volodymyr Zelenskiy secured 73.22 percent of the votes.
"After the second round of voting on April 21, 2019... presidential candidate Volodymir Zelenskiy becomes the president-elect," the commission said.
Zelenskiy's rival, incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, secured 24.45 percent, the CEC said.
