Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 29th April, 2019) Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan was gifted a gold crown in Sialkot.
Making leaders to wear gold crowns in political meetings has become a matter of routine. Maryam Nawaz was also gifted a gold crown in public meetings held in various cities of the country.
Following the lead, Imran Khan was also made to wear a gold crown in his public meeting while a gold bat was also gifted to him. Khan, however, donated the bat to Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
In a fresh, Firdous Ashiq was presented a crown.
However, following in on the prime minister's footsteps, she refused to take the crown and announced to donate it for Shaukat Khanum.
Firdous Ashiq said that the crown will be handed over to Prime Minister Imran Khan when he would come to Sialkot for Shaukat Khanum’s fund raiser.
Speaking to media, she said that Imran Khan wants rule of law in the country.
She said that his movement has been for this cause since day one.
The special assistant further said that her voice represents the voice of all Pakistani women.
She added that Pakistan would be put in the right direction under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership.
She said that a new era will begin with the prime minister’s China visit as it will give us access to international markets.
