Lahore (Pakistan Point News / Online - 26th April, 2019) Ameer Jamaat e Islami, Senator Siraj-ul- Haq , after consultation of Shoora has appointed Amir-ul- Azeem as the new Secretary General of the party for the next five years.Amir-ul- Azeem has served as Information Secretary of Jamaat e Islami. Earlier, he has been the chief of the Islami Jamiat e Talaba.Eight new Naib Ameer of the JI are Liaqat Baloch, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Rashid Naseem, Asad Ullah Bhutto, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Dr.
Meraj-ul- Huda Siddiqui and Abdul Ghaffar Aziz.These office bearers took their oath at a simple ceremony held at Mansoora, on Friday morning.Two senior most Naib Ameers of the JI, Prof. Khurshid Ahmed and Hafiz Muhammad Idrees declined to accept the office of the JI deputy chief for the next term on account of their ill health.Siraj paid rich tributes to their valuable services for the JI. He said that the two elderly leaders had devoted their lives for the JI and the Islamic revolution in the country. He expressed the hope that the two would continue to their patronage for the JI.
