MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) Members of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group (banned in Russia) in the de-escalation zone in the northwestern Syrian province of Idlib are making attempts to remold HTS into a moderate opposition group, the Russian Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said on Thursday."The situation in Idlib de-escalation zone remains tense. According to incoming information, militants of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group are making effort to remold it into, say, moderate opposition," Zakharova said at a briefing.
Illegal armed groups and terrorists continue violating the ceasefire in Idlib every day.
