MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) Mongolia is grateful to Russia for providing assistance to Ulaanbaatar in the defense industry and contributing to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, Mongolian Defense Minister Nyamaagiin Enkhbold said on Wednesday.
"We are grateful to you for providing us with military-technical assistance and training our experts," Enkhbold said at a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, adding that he wanted to discuss with his Russian counterpart "specific questions related to military and defense industry cooperation."
Enkhbold also thanked the Russian defense minister for his personal contribution to developing the cooperation between Russia and Mongolia, stressing that it was already his fifth meeting with Shoigu in a year and a half.
