Peshawar (Pakistan Point News / Online - 22nd April, 2019) Health condition of more than 60 children deteriorated after being administered polio drops in a private school of Budh Bair Mashu Khel.All were shifted to Hayat Abad Medical complex for first aid.An anti-polio compaign was underway in the private school of Budh Bair Mashu Khel where children were administered polio drops but after some time condition of more than 60 children fell unconscious who later shifted at Hayat Abad medical complex for first aid.
Parents of the affected children reached outside the school and raised slogans against the government.Teachers and children of the school were of the view that their condition became unconscious after they had been administered anti-polio vaccine.On the other hand, PM focal person for polio Babar Ata said that more than 40 million children are being administered polio drops across the country but no such case has been registered so far. .
