All State Universities In Sri Lanka Closed After Deadly Blasts - Reports

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st April, 2019) All state universities in Sri Lanka have been closed after a series of blasts hit churches and hotels across the country on Easter Sunday, local media reported.

News 1st media outlet reported that the country's railway administration announced the suspension of postal train service for the whole night.

Eight blasts took place in Sri Lanka on Sunday, hitting several churches with Catholic worshipers and hotels in the country's capital of Colombo and other cities. According to media reports, the attacks claimed lives of some 200 people. The government imposed a curfew from 6:00 p.m. Sunday to 6:00 a.m. Monday local time (from 12:30 p.m. Sunday to 00:30 a.m. Monday GMT).
