Prime Minister Imran Khan is also considering Salman Shah and Hafeez Pasha for the post, according to media reports
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 18th April 2019) The government is considering Names of Shaukat Tareen, Hafeez Pasha, Dr Ishrat Hussain and Salman Shah for the appointment as a finance advisor.
According to media reports, the Tareen is emerging the strong candidate although nothing could be said for sure so far.
The important position is to fill within next 24 hours as PTI senior leader, a close aide of PM and finance minister Asad Umar resigned on Thursday morning.
According to media reports, PM had also summoned Power Minister Umar Ayub Khan for the discussion.
Senior analysts have advised the government that it should have first finalized the name of the person for the appointment before allowing Asad to quit.
