Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 16th April, 2019) A rickshaw driver in Larkana set an example of honesty as he returned a woman’s purse having gold and cash back to her.
According to media reports, a woman forgot her purse in a rickshaw.
However, instead of stealing it, the rickshaw driver decided to return the purse to its rightful owner.
The rickshaw driver contacted the woman’s family with the help of rickshaw union and returned her purse.
The rickshaw driver said that the purse had 10-tola hold and Rs1.5 lac cash.
The woman’s family were impressed by the honesty of the driver and were rather shocked at how he returned such a huge amount.
The rickshaw driver was awarded with Rs20,000 upon his honesty.
Earlier, a worker of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had returned jewellery worth Rs 4 million to the owner.
The incident happened at Lahore Airport where a citizen, named Mushtaq, forgot his jewellery bag at the international departure lounge of the airport.
The female CAA worker, identified as Shama, took the bag in her custody and informed the manager of Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
The manager traced Mushtaq’s family with the help of phone and returned the bag having jewels worth Rs 4 million.
Similarly, a traffic warden in Karachi set an example of kindness as he shifted an unconscious person on road to the hospital and returned the cash found from him.
Sindh traffic police official Hukam Dad found a motorcyclist lying unconsciously on the road. Helping the citizen, he shifted him to the hospital and took care of Rs 47,000 recovered from him.
