LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 13th April 2019) PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi has been released from Camp Jail Lahore.
He was set free on a bail on Saturday evening after he submitted two surety bonds of Rs5 million each to the Lahore High Court (LHC).
According to media reports, the Lahore High Court deputy registrar signed the release order and sent it to Camp Jail's superintendent. The outspoken leader of PML-N from Rawalpindi who had been facing life imprisonment in ephedrine case was latter set free from the jail. The LHC has already suspended his sentence. A good number of party workers present in front of the jail welcomed their leader. They chanted slogans in favor of him and the party. Hanif Abbasi later left the city for Rawalpindi.
