US investor Michael Calvey, despite his arrest, believes in Russia's investment potential, will seek to prove his innocence as a matter of honor, Calvey said in Moscow's Basmanny Court, where the issue of changing his preventive measure from pretrial detention to house arrest is being decided, on Thursday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th April, 2019) US investor Michael Calvey, despite his arrest, believes in Russia's investment potential, will seek to prove his innocence as a matter of honor, Calvey said in Moscow's Basmanny Court, where the issue of changing his preventive measure from pretrial detention to house arrest is being decided, on Thursday.
"I still believe in the investment potential of Russia. ... I ask you to believe in my desire to prove my innocence," Calvey said.
