Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 10th April, 2019) A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air hostess reportedly fled from Paris while on duty.
Media reports said that the air hostess was on duty on a flight to Paris from Lahore.
The air hostess, identified as Shazia, left for Belgium with her luggage without informing anyone.
She went missing from her hotel and fled to Belgium.
Shazia had tendered her resignation before going to Belgium. The PIA staff informed the higher officials about the situation.
The PIA management has launched an inquiry into the incident.
Earlier, in a similar incident, a PIA air hostess had gone missing in Canada last year but was later traced.
The attendant had flown to Canada and sought asylum there.
She had been suspended a few years ago for being involved in smuggling mobile phones and foreign Currency.
