Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 09th April, 2019) The government has decided to provide high speed unlimited internet access to the public.Following its vision to explore new ventures imperative to the country's progress, the government has decided to engage Telecom companies that have already established their credibility in the provision on high speed unlimited internet.The companies involved in the high speed internet business in the country and have also been involved in the optical fiber facility; Safe City Project and CPEC projects have expressed their willingness enhance business in the country.
The Ministry of Telecom while appreciating latest performance of the telecom companies has prepared a summary which will be presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan for approval.Shahid Masood, a higher official associated with Optical Fiber Company World Call, said that the company as per the vision of the government has signed an agreement which will bring a drastic improvement in the speed of internet in the country.The company has done work in Pakistan for Safe City Project and CPEC and the world is well aware about its credibility. He said with this agreement, costumers will get high speed internet but in cheap rates and that is also the vision of the current government.It is pertinent to mention here that Advisor to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari has also advised Imran Khan for fast internet provision in the country.
