World Bank Lowers Russia's GDP Growth Forecast For 2019 To 1.4%

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th April, 2019) The World Bank slightly lowered its forecast for Russia's annual gross domestic product (GDP) growth for 2019 from 1.5 percent to 1.4 percent due to low oil prices, a new report revealed.

"A downgraded forecast for GDP growth in 2019 reflects lower oil prices," the World Bank said in its Europe and Central Asia Economic Update that included a table revealing Russia's 2019 target at 1.4 percent.
