Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th April, 2019) The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) on Thursday declared National Accountability Bureau's handcuffing of suspects against Shariah and the law.While briefing the media persons after meeting, CII chief Qibla Ayaz said insulting a suspect in the media before conviction is against islam and human dignity.He said a committee to analyzse the NAB ordinance has been formed under the supervision of Justice (retd) Raza Khan.
"The committee would review as to which NAB laws are in violation of the Islamic law," Ayaz said.He said, "The CII formed a committee to review the National Accountability Bureau's laws under Sharia and the committee would assess which clauses of the NAB laws are against holy Quran and Sunnah.To ridicule an accused in front of media before being proven guilty is against humanity," Qibla Ayaz said and added manacling an accused before being proven guilty is contrary to Islamic jurisprudence.
He further said they have severe reservations over the recently-held Aurat March in the country. CII Chairman Qibla Ayaz said that young generation is suffering from mental stress, adding that the committee will work to introduce legislation for the ownership of women in inheritance.The CII chairman went on to say that the meeting strongly condemned an attack on Moulana Taqi Usmani and the murder of college professor in Bahawalpur.
