ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / Online - 04th April, 2019) National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved to scale up power tariff by paisas 81 per unit.Following the enhancement in petroleum products prices, the power tariff has also been increased. The power tariff has been enhanced under Fuel Adjustment Surcharge (FAS) in the month of February.Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had applied for increasing the power tariff by Rs 1.24 per unit. An additional financial burden to the tune of Rs 5.2 billion will be shifted to the consumers due to this decision.The increase in tariff will stand applied to all consumers except K-Electric
