MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd April, 2019) The first ever Franco-Russian industrial forum, dubbed Industry of the Future, will open in Moscow on April 11, French Ambassador to Russia Sylvie Bermann said on Tuesday.
"I am happy to announce, together with RSPP [the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs] President Alexander Shokhin, that the first Franco-Russian forum Industry of the Future will open on April 11 in Moscow," Bermann said at a press conference dedicated to the forum.
The ambassador voiced her belief that the forum would lay the foundation for further Franco-Russian cooperation, enabling its participants to "share ideas," "establish closer contacts" and "make the implementation of common projects more dynamic."
The agenda of the forum will include the meetings of working groups, roundtables with participation of enterprises presidents and a session on strategic decision-making.
The forum is being organized by the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its center for technological cooperation, Nauka Innov, as well as by the French alliance, called Industry of the Future. The event is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the RSPP.
