Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Religious Affairs minister Noorul Haq Qadri, Minister of State for Interior Sheheryar Afridi, army officials, Federal secretaries and chief secretaries of the provinces attended the meeting.
A statement issued after the meeting quoted PM Khan as saying that the implementation of the NAP was his government's foremost priority. He said the NAP implementation in letter and spirit was the demand of the nation. All the political parties had already agreed on it, it said.
PM said that the government will not allow any militant group or proscribed organization working in the country. He expressed his resolve against violence and militancy.
Finance Minister Umar briefed the participants about matters related to the Financial Action Task Force.
