GAZA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) Hamas movement, de facto governing the Gaza Strip, has reached an agreement on a mutual ceasefire with Israel, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum said on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli health authorities said that seven people had been injured in central Israel, north of Tel Aviv, as a result of the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. In response to the attack, the Israel Defense Forces started striking Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.
"Egypt's efforts to cease fire between the occupation forces and resistance factions have turned to be successful," Barhum said in a statement.
