Eighty-three percent of Ukrainian citizens are expecting some manner of fraud to occur during the country's upcoming presidential election, a poll carried out by sociological group Rating found on Monday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) Eighty-three percent of Ukrainian citizens are expecting some manner of fraud to occur during the country's upcoming presidential election, a poll carried out by sociological group Rating found on Monday.According to the poll, 42 percent of Ukrainians anticipate massive fraud in the election, while 41 percent think that there will only be minor fraud. Only 6 percent of respondents believed there would be a completely fair election. The rest of respondents failed to give a clear answer.
The poll was conducted in cooperation with the Kiev International Institute of Sociology and the Razumkov Center on March 5-14 across Ukraine, except for the Donbas region, among 15,000 respondents aged 18 or older. The margin of error does not exceed 0.8 percent.
The first round of the Ukrainian presidential election is scheduled for Sunday.
