MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) The publication of only a certain part of US Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on the alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential campaign creates a possibility for further manipulations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday."When only a ... part of a report is being published, there is always a possibility of further manipulations," Zakharova said as aired by Russkoye Radio.
She pointed out that speculations regarding the issue had already emerged.
"Now, experts on the one side will start to join [the discussion of the issue], unnamed sources on the other [side will do same]," Zakharova warned.
On Sunday, the US Department of Justice released a four-page summary of main conclusions of Mueller's 22-month investigation. According to the document, the probe found no proof of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. Mueller, however, maintains that Russia had tried to interfere in the election, a claim Russia has repeatedly refuted.
