MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd March, 2019) The UK government is considering to put as many as seven options concerning the deadlocked Brexit on vote in the House of Commons, the Sky news broadcaster reported on Friday, citing a senior minister.

According to the minister, this options include: revoking Article 50, conducting a second referendum, accepting the prime minister's twice rejected deal, the deal plus a customs union, the deal plus a customs union and single market access, a free-trade agreement, and a no-deal Brexit.

Another source had confirmed that the idea had been discussed by senior government officials as a "way to find a solution" to the crisis, the broadcaster said.

After Thursday's European Council meeting, the EU leaders agreed to grant the United Kingdom a short Brexit extension until May 22 if the UK House of Commons was able to pass the Brexit agreement next week and until April 12 if it did not. Both dates are tied to the European Parliament elections, which are scheduled for May 23-26. If the United Kingdom intends to hold them, it has to make the announcement by April 12.
